IML have featured in this month edition of micenet AUSTRALIA. The article discusses how the main aim of technology in meetings is to provide better engagement with its audience and harness the intelligence in the room.
Better Engagement
Whatever technology meeting and event planners adopt, it aim is the simply provide better engagement with its audience.
And what that primarily means is better meeting outcomes. The best and most current whiz bang technology has no purpose unless it creates better audience engagement and better meeting outcomes. Who really needs 3D holographic images unless these images help achieve the required outcomes meeting and event planners?
One of the world’s leading companies in the area of audience interaction, IML, is pushing the boundaries in creating better meetings, and has a global strategy of doing much more. For those who don’t know IML, the company provides handheld audience response devices the size of mobile smart phone to delegates who can use them to participate in meetings more effectively. UK based CEO of IML, Richard Fisher, was in Sydney recently where he told micenet AUSTRALIA that the company is now working far more closely with its clients to really drill down to what they want to achieve from their meetings and events.
The Palmerston North City Council is likely to be the first local government authority in New Zealand to use electronic voting (E-voting) at all council meetings.
The council have purchased an IML Connector system to allow them vote on important matters securely and electronically.
